Enjoy my 2021 Christmas album, A Killarney Christmas

A piano-led celebration of the mystery, peace, and Spirit-filled joy of Christ's advent.

The 5-song improvisational medley (broken up into 4 tracks) is a tradition I've done with different Christmas carols almost every year since I was 6 years old. The one captured on this album is one of my finest. It was not composed or very much rehearsed beforehand. I choose the songs and then start playing all the way through without stopping, until I've played all the songs. I let the power of the Holy Spirit move through me to interpret them in original ways, delighting in whatever comes forth.

In 2022, at the request of my late aunt Patricia, my mother's eldest sister, I added to this album my arrangement of my late mother's simple song, "Home For Christmas."

In 2023, I added an improvisational version of "Peace Like a River," with vocal and added instruments.

All voices and instruments on the album, including strings, harp, reeds, and bells, were arranged and performed by me, Robin Tucker. I only play piano, so I played all the other instruments electronically using MIDI through the keyboard.

My hope is to inspire listeners to seek the face of God, not just His hands when we need something. He desires a relationship with you, which is exactly what Jesus was born for and died for and was resurrected for.  This is what Jesus meant when He said in John 14:6,

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.

Jesus' taking on all our sins and becoming the perfect sacrifice of atonement reconciled us sinners to God the Father. And my testimony is that that relationship is by far the most secure, loving, and joyous you can ever experience in your short lifetime.

It will re-color ALL your relationships and experiences for the vastly better.

It will remake you into the person God created you to be, who is way more cherished, blessed, and powerful than you can be on your own without Jesus.

It's the best news you could ever hope for. Don't wait. Repent and turn to Jesus today to accept this most wonderful gift ever given to all of us.
